CT MIDGETS SPRING 12 ANNOUNCEMENT

 

Enfield, CT, February 15th, 2012 -

 

Plans are finalized, winter seasons are coming to a close, and Spring Hockey is right around the corner. That means the CT Selects are back for another great Spring Hockey Season.
 

This Spring will look a little different than previous Springs at the Midget Level. We are planning to have only 1 Team made up of the best players from ages 93’s thru 97’s and the team will compete at the Midget Major Level.
 

Coach Mike Sufrin had this to say about the change “It’s great to bring all the talent together on one team because regardless of age everyone gets better if we have the most talented kids playing together. We are hoping that by having 1 Elite Team we can help to improve each players skill level while providing them an atmosphere where they can learn, win and most of all have fun”.
 

The Team will compete in 3 Tournaments and practice 2 times before each Tournament for a total of 6 practices. Each player will be provided with Game Jersey, Game Socks, Team Hat and Team T-Shirt. Schedule will be announced shortly.
 

The Season will run again from April thru late June thus giving the players the month of July and August off before Fall Hockey starts.
 

The CT Selects are planning on offering a full season AAA team
 

Tryouts

Tryouts for both teams will be held at the Enfield Twin Rinks in Enfield, CT on:

Saturday March 31st:
Midgets 9:00-10:00 a.m.

Sunday April 1st:
Midgets 4:30-5:30 p.m.
The cost is: $30.00
