Coach Paul Dowe
Paul
Dowe played his
collegiate career at Plattsburgh
State University where he won 4
SUNYAC Conference Championships,
Played in the Final Four all 4
Years, Won SUNYAC Tournament MVP
in 2001, and won a NCAA National
Championship in 2001 as well.
The last 5 Seasons Paul has been
at the helm of the Tri-Town
Hockey Team leading his team to
an impressive overall record of
76-34 in 5 seasons. He has taken
the Tri-Town hockey team and
turned them into one of the most
respected Teams in Northern CT.
Paul also started the CT SELECTS
3 Years ago and is very please
where the program is headed
today.

Karl Sundquist
Karl
Sundquist has coached
Avon/St. Paul for 13 years now
and has had a successful tenure
doing so hitting his 100th win
in 2006 and recently leading
Avon/St.Paul to a 16-4 2007-08
season. He brings with him years
of coaching experience and a
passion for the game that is
second to none. He is entering
his second year at the helm of
the Midget Major Team and is
hoping to improve on last year’s
great season. Karl is excited to
be back with the CT SELECTS and
looking forward to a fun spring.

Kevin O'Leary
Kevin
O'Leary has been part
of the CT SELECTS family for the
last 3 seasons and has had a lot
of success in that time. Kevin
comes from a very deep coaching
background as he coached the
Middlesex Youth Hockey Program
for years as well as lead the
Xavier High School hockey team
the last 5 seasons. We are
looking for Kevin to bring all
of his hockey knowledge and love
for the game into the CT SELECTS
practices and games.

Rodman
Neil
Rodman is currently
the Head Coach at highly touted
South Windsor High School and
has been there for 4 years. He
played his collegiate career at
Elmira and is looking forward to
another exciting year with the
CT SELECTS.
Coach
Joe Bonfiglio
Joe
Bonfiglio led the varsity
program at Enfield High to the
state tournament in his first
year as head coach last season.
He won a state championship as a
member of the 1990 Fermi H.S.
team and finished his high
school career with 151 points in
69 games. He set a single season
school record with 40 goals in
1993 and was selected to the All
Conference (CCC East) team in
1992 and 1993. Joe played
collegiate hockey for Johnson &
Wales winning the NECHA scoring
title in 1994. Joe is
excited about the opportunity to
work with the CT SELECTS.
Peewee Major 96’
Coach
Anthony “Juice” Giusto & Tom
Carroll
Anthony
Giusto currently
coaches at the Pewee A level. He
played his collegiate career at
Umass-Amherst then transferred
and finished his college career
at AIC where he served as team
captain his senior year. Juice
brings with him years of
coaching and playing experience
and is very excited to be
working with the CT SELECTS this
spring season.
Tom
Carroll will be a
guest coach all Spring Season.
He played with the Springfield
Junior Falcons the last 3
Seasons and has had a very
successful career there. After
looking at many different
colleges he has decided to
attend Castelton State
University next year to lead
their hockey team. We look
forward to having Tom around
helping the kids throughout the
Spring and we welcome Tom to the
CT SELECTS family.
Peewee Minor 97’

Garrison & Erik Sundquist
Jeremy
Garrison currently
runs Rising Start Hockey and
played his collegiate career at
Quinnipiac University. Jeremy
still plays pro hockey and is
looking forward to bringing his
playing and coaching experience
to the CT SELECTS Hockey Club.
Squirt Major 98’

Brian Healy
Brian
Healy currently
coaches the Mid-Fairfield Bantam
Minor Team and has been very
successful in doing so leading
the Bantam Team to a great
season. He also was assistant
coach at Wethersfield High School
and is looking forward to an
exciting spring season with the
CT SELECTS.
Squirt Minor 99’
Coach Erik
Sundquist
Erik
Sundquist is the Head
Coach for the Central Squirt A
team that won a Regional
Championship the last two years.
He played at Division I
Providence College in Hockey
East. Erik won a Hockey East
Championship in 1996 and played
in the NCAA Tournament.
Mite Major 00’
Coach Tom
Bivona
Tom
Bivona currently
coaches the Central Mite A team.
He played his collegiate career
at Division I Northeastern where
he won the famed Beanpot
Tournament. He followed his
excellent College career by
playing in the Italian
Professional League for 2
seasons. Tom has worked his way
up the ladder at Central and is
looking forward to a great
Spring Season with the CT
SELECTS.
